Elizabeth Born, DO

My name is Elizabeth Born. Growing up in Southern California, I have always enjoyed spending my free time outdoors. My grandparents taught me how to ride horses, and shared their appreciation for camping, hunting and exploring new places. I received my Bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University, where I double majored in Physiology and Spanish. I worked as a bartender at a live music venue throughout college and will never turn down a chance to discover new music. I love to sing, dance and am currently teaching myself how to oil paint which is harder than it looks!

I wanted to experience life outside of California for medical school and landed in Kansas City, where I met my husband. I have fallen in love with the Midwest and consider this area to be home now - Go Chiefs! In my free time, you can find me taking my German Shepherd on a run, trying new restaurants, checking out art/music festivals or just relaxing at the lake. I am very much looking forward to becoming part of the CoxHealth family and experiencing all the great things that Springfield offers.
