CoxHealth offers occupational teletherapy for both adult and pediatric patients.

Occupational therapists treat a variety of patients who may be injured, ill, or disabled and need assistance with recovery, improvement or even maintenance of skills needed for daily living. It may include working with patients to teach them exercise and rehabilitation techniques that make completing daily tasks, such as dressing, eating, and bathing, much easier.

Occupational therapists also work with pediatric patients to improve their fine and basic motor skills, strength, dexterity and range of motion. Commonly treated conditions include:

Hand Clinic

The Hand Clinic is a specialty area of occupational therapy focused on treating conditions related to the arm and hand. Hand therapists treat conditions such as strains and sprains, lacerations, arthritis and surgical repairs of tendons and nerves. The goal is to promote healing and positive outcomes, improving quality of life in meaningful activities. Commonly treated conditions include lacerations, arthritis and post-surgery rehabilitation.
