Medicare Part B, MO HealthNet, and some private insurances cover palliative care, which provides:

- A better understanding of your illness
- Pain and symptom management
- Patient-centered inpatient and outpatient care
- Emotional, physical, and spiritual support

Your palliative care team
We’re here to support you, your family, and your medical team. As your advocates, we’ll help make sure you get the care you want. We’ll help you share your values and goals with your family and providers. We’ll also help you manage your symptoms, end-stage illness, and prognosis. Your palliative care team may include a:
- Case manager
- Chaplain
- Medical director
- Nurse practicioner
- Registered nurse
- Social worker
