A person allergic to one food may be allergic to related foods. This is a list of possible food relationships.

  • Apple - potato and carrot
  • Carrot - celery, anise, apple, potato, rye, wheat, avocado and pineapple
  • Cereals - elel, mackerel, salmon, trout, tuna, bass, dentex, sole and haddock
  • Cow's milk - mare's milk, goat's milk, casein and whey
  • Egg white - egg yok, chicken, ovalbumin and ovomucoid
  • Garlic - onion and asparagus
  • Pea - soybean, white bean, peanut, lentil, fennel, guar gum, carob bean, tragacanth, chickpea and liquorice
  • Peach - apricot, plum, guava and banana
  • Pecan - walnut
  • Rice - wheat, rye, barley, oats and corn
  • Shrimp - crab, lobster, squid and crayfish
  • Wheat - barley, rye and oat
