I grew up in Conway, Arkansas, (home of the Wampus Cats) with my awesome parents, four brothers and incredible wife, Kendra. Following high school, I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Arkansas, and attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.
I was drawn to family medicine because it provides the unique opportunity to develop lifelong, meaningful relationships with patients. In addition, family medicine trains physicians to treat a wide variety of medical conditions in various practice settings, and I look forward to applying that training back home in Arkansas. I feel confident that there is no better group of people to train with than the wonderful people at CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency in the beautiful Ozarks!
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors. I love fishing, hunting, camping and just about anything that gets me outside. On rainy or lazy days, I enjoy watching documentaries on Netflix, reading (listening to audio books), and last but certainly not least, listening to bluegrass music and playing the banjo!
