I was born and raised in Lincoln, MO, a small town 1.5 hours north of Springfield. I got my Bachelors in Biochemistry and Masters in Public Health (MPH) at Mizzou. During undergrad and grad school, I worked as a pharmacy technician at MU Health and was a Beacon of Hope fellow in the MU public health office. After earning my MPH, I worked as a Grant Coordinator for the Missouri Hospital Association in Jefferson City. Then I moved to Iowa to complete my medical school education at Des Moines University. During medical school, I fell in love with family medicine and I am excited to care for the whole family!
I am interested in pursuing rural full-scope family medicine, so I searched for a residency program that would truly offer broad training and support me in these interests. I enjoy many different areas of medicine including obstetrics, women's health, pediatrics, sports medicine, and wound care. I chose CoxHealth FMR because of the amazing people! The faculty, staff, and residents are all incredibly supportive and caring individuals that made me feel at home. I am so excited and thankful to be part of the Cox family!
In my free time, I enjoy playing with my fat cat, Sebastian, reading, traveling, hiking, embroidery, knitting, enjoying Irish history and culture, and spending time with friends and family.
