Alex Hagaman, DO

My name is Alex Hagaman. I am originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas. I loved growing up in the Ozarks and am excited to have three years for exploring this area and all it has to offer. I am excited to serve the thriving community of Springfield, Missouri.

I attended college at The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in pursuit of my medical degree. From there I attended medical school at The New York Institute of Technology in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Throughout medical school I learned from a wide variety of instructors and practiced in many rural communities. I gained knowledge, empathy, and understanding from my time in these communities. I chose CoxHealth after realizing what an incredible program they had to offer. The residents, attendings, and supporting staff members are second to none and I can't wait to get started.

Joining me here in Springfield are my wife, Brittany, our son, Hank, and our two golden retrievers, Remi and Winnie. My favorite activities are watching the Razorbacks and duck hunting. My family and I enjoy exploring outdoors on walking trails and parks. I enjoy visiting the Mountain Home area frequently and visiting both of our extended families. Professionally, I am passionate about medical education, access to medicine for all, and patient care.
