Neurosurgery Spine Care Clinic now open

CoxHealth’s Neurosurgery Spine Care Clinic is now open and offers a new option for patients experiencing neck or back pain.

“Neck and back pain are common issues for many patients, but we know there are many treatments available to help reduce or even eliminate pain,” says Emily Crouse, nurse practitioner who is overseeing the initiative. “The Neurosurgery Spine Care Clinic’s goal is to provide a patient-oriented access point to initial neurological spine care.”

At the clinic, providers will work with patients to determine an individualized plan of care for their symptoms. If additional care or treatment is required, patients will be given a referral to a provider for the appropriate level of care.

Any individual, age 18 or older, experiencing neck or back pain can schedule an appointment at the clinic by having their primary care provider send a referral. Alternatively, the individual can call the Spine Care Clinic team directly at 417-269-2225.

The Neurosurgery Spine Care Clinic is located in Springfield at Cox South’s Jared Neuroscience Center.
