CoxHealth East Battlefield Clinic now open

CoxHealth’s newest super clinic – and its first in Springfield – has officially opened its doors.

CoxHealth East Battlefield Clinic, located at the corner of Highway 65 and Battlefield Road, offers patients a convenient location for primary care, physical therapy, on-site radiology and lab services, and walk-in care for existing patients. In the coming weeks, urgent care services will also be added at the facility.

“We are so excited to see this project come to completion and offer a new, convenient option for our patients,” says Brock Shamel, vice president of Cox Medical Group. “This latest super clinic offers one stop for a variety of services, which is something that we believe gives another layer of service and ease of access for the community when care is needed.”

CoxHealth East Battlefield is the most recent facility in CoxHealth’s new “super clinic” model of care. Other similar facilities have opened in Nixa, Ozark and Monett in the last year. It represents the third CoxHealth urgent care in Springfield, and will house the medical practitioners formerly located at the Medical Mile clinic.
