Company sends incorrect information to CoxHealth patients

CoxHealth has become aware that Missouri Care, a company that administers insurance benefits for many people in the Ozarks, has distributed letters to patients stating they are no longer able to receive services at CoxHealth under their insurance plan.

This information is incorrect, and the letters were sent by mistake.

While CoxHealth did not send out these letters, the health system feels a responsibility to inform the community that this information is not true, and that there is no interruption to care for those with this plan. Missouri Care is looking into why this happened, and will notify patients directly that this is an error.
