Budgeting for immigration expenses
CoxHealth will cover most of the costs associated with your visa. Your specific expenses will vary based on what type of visa CoxHealth is sponsoring. In general, you should be prepared to cover the following costs:
- Dependent immigration expenses – CoxHealth does not cover any costs associated with dependents
- Required education
- Required license or certification
- VisaScreen certificate, if applicable
- Visa fee

Relocating to a new country involves various expenses and it's essential to save an adequate amount to cover these costs and establish a solid financial foundation. While the exact amount can vary depending on your circumstances, below are some general guidelines to help you get started.
- Flight tickets
- Travel insurance
- Housing costs, including security deposits, first month's rent, utilities, and furniture
- Daily expenses, including groceries, transportation, cell phone, and internet
- Emergency funds for accidents, illnesses, etc.
- Work items, including scrubs, uniforms, equipment such as a stethoscope, and more
- Health and other insurance
