Overview
CoxWorks serves as a digital institutional repository (IR) created to preserve the scholarly work of the institutions’ employees, faculty and students. An IR complements initiatives and programs such as Magnet, Cox residency programs, Cox College graduate programs, and future academic developments. Accessing CoxWorks
The collection is openly available online by visiting CoxWorks. A direct link to the collection is available on the Library Services' Intranet Site. Users may search for works in OneSearch@ CoxHealth Library, or by searching the online catalog. These works are not generally accessible by searching with a web browser.
Who may submit works?
The primary goal of the IR is to preserve original scholarly works created by employees, physicians, residents and Cox College students as a result of professional activities while employed by CoxHealth, or during attendance at Cox College. CoxWorks also retains original scholarly works by outside students and affiliates who conduct original research at CoxHealth.
Submitting Items to CoxWorks
Step One: Complete the CoxWorks Submission form.
Step Two: Watch your Cox or school-issued email for confirmation of receipt.
Step Three: Library Services will notify you once your work has been added to CoxWorks providing the work meets the criteria for addition to the repository.
Removal of Items from CoxWorks
Authors who wish to have their items removed from the repository may submit the Request for Removal form.
