As the only certified DNV-comprehensive stroke center in the southwest region, we strive to improve the quality of care received by all stroke patients through professional education programs. Approximately 610,000 of these are first attacks and 1 out of 4 are recurrent attacks.</p><p data-block-key="8urh">Stroke is a leading cause of serious long-term disability in the US.</p><p data-block-key="8euq6">Global prevalence of stroke in 2017 was 104.2 million.
