Springfield Tech Council Tours CoxHealth's Award-Winning Virtual Care Command Center

We were so excited to show guests from the Springfield Tech Council around our Virtual Care team’s Command Center!

In June of 2023, we announced that we had invested in our Virtual Care team – a transformational way to care for our ICU and Medical-Surgical patients. This approach combines industry-leading technology with the expertise of our clinical team to provide extra support for our teams and add another level of attention and observation for our patients. 

That same year, we were honored to win the 2023 Most Innovative Solution award at the Springfield Tech Council’s Excellence in Technology Awards event. 

The team earned an additional honor in 2024 from  DNV GL Healthcare, as they received the Innovation of the Year award, recognizing the most innovative projects across more than 500 hospitals accredited by DNV. 

We’re so appreciative of the Springfield Tech Council's continued support, and it was a pleasure having them tour our Command Center to witness firsthand the impactful work our team is doing with this innovative technology.
