Job Summary: Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of nursing staff. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned. Obtains information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff, and reports and changes in patient condition.

Job Requirements:

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Graduated from a formal MA training program

Experience

No experience required

Preferred: Previous experience in healthcare setting, particularly in outpatient clinic or ambulatory clinic setting

Preferred: Previous experience in work that involved direct contact with people

Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.

- Proficient Computer skills.

- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

BLS or must obtain within first 90 days of hire
