Driving course for teenagers offered on July 15
Making responsible decisions is an important part of hitting the road – especially for teenagers learning to drive. To help with that, CoxHealth will host Risky Business on July 15. The interactive course is designed to prepare young drivers, ages 15 to 18, to make responsible decisions while driving.
During the course, participants see first-hand the results of motor vehicle crashes and the effects on victims and their families. This hands-on program places reality directly in front of the participants and the response is often positive. Typically, at the end of the day, participants realize how their lives can be changed as a result of their choices.
The class costs $25 for community members, and $15 for CoxHealth employees or their family members. It will be held at Cox South from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Space is limited, and advance paid registration is required. Lunch is included.
