COVID-19 update
This week’s update on our COVID-19 response and prevalence in our communities comes in a video message here.
Fund set up for children of CoxHealth employee who dies from COVID-19
This week, we announced the death of a CoxHealth health care worker from COVID-19. 40-year-old Marie Brumbaugh was a medical assistant at one of our clinics in the Branson area. We deeply mourn the loss of our colleague and friend, and offer our love and support to her family and loved ones. A scholarship and support fund has been established for Marie’s children at the CoxHealth Foundation.
CoxHealth welcomes two new physicians

Cox Branson among nation’s top hospitals for treatment of heart attacks
Cox Branson has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2020. The medical center is one of only 140 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.
Proud to work at CoxHealth
“My 7-year-old struggles with anxiety at times, and this can, of course, be hard to watch as a parent, so it was no surprise that we were a little uncertain about how he would do with the CoxHealth school program. We have him going one day per week, and I am pleased to tell you he came out all smiles after the first day, and again after the second. Thank you for creating an environment where I can feel good about sending my child during these uncertain times, where he learns, has made friends, and enjoys himself. It's a relief for this momma.”
Voice of the patient
“I want to say, after 2 weeks at Cox Hospital, I survived COVID-19. It is a horrible, horrible problem to ever have. One feels they will never get their next breath and sometimes don't care even if you do. I can't say enough about the doctors or the nurses. They were angels! ... They were caring and full of love. They were the best. I hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I would go there!”
Thank you for caring for our community,
Steve
