Fund set up for children of CoxHealth employee who dies from COVID-19

This week, we announced the death of a CoxHealth health care worker from COVID-19. 40-year-old Marie Brumbaugh was a medical assistant at one of our clinics in the Branson area. We deeply mourn the loss of our colleague and friend, and offer our love and support to her family and loved ones. A scholarship and support fund has been established for Marie’s children at the CoxHealth Foundation.

CoxHealth welcomes two new physicians

Joshua Williams, MD, has joined the health care team at Cox Barton County and will be working both as a hospitalist and in the clinic setting in family medicine. Connor Barnes, MD, has joined Cox Medical Group and will be seeing new patients with Ferrell-Duncan Clinic Plastic Surgery.

Cox Branson among nation’s top hospitals for treatment of heart attacks

Cox Branson has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2020. The medical center is one of only 140 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.
