Branson hospital holds clothing drive for patients

The Adult Psych Unit at Cox Medical Center Branson held a drive recently for gently used clothing for patients who are in need. Many times, patients in the unit have no other clothing but what they are wearing. The community support for the drive was overwhelming and the unit’s closet is full once again.

Proud to work at CoxHealth

“This week I have my first experience with the walk in orthopedic clinic. A volunteer met me outside anticipating my need of a wheelchair due to my injury. The registration staff were up front with me about the wait time as they were pretty busy but she set a good expectation for the time frame. Kendal with radiology was kind and informative and narrated everything she was going to have me do. It was great to get quick answers and fast care and I really appreciated it. This makes me proud to work for CoxHealth. With such a good experience, I am happy to share my recommendation of care with friends and family.”

Voice of the patient

"I came to the Cox Monett ER with shoulder and back pain. Dr. Tom Trent told me he had 90 minutes to get me to Cox South to the Cath Lab. He and his team worked together—I made it in time. My end result was quadruple bypass surgery. He saved my life.”

Thank you for everything you do to support our patients and our community,

Steve
