CoxHealth Hosting Hiring Event for Clinical and Nonclinical Positions

On June 23, 2022, CoxHealth is hosting an in-person job fair to hire more than 100 clinical and nonclinical positions. From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., people of varied experience levels are welcome to visit Cox South’s West Tower entrance to learn about career opportunities.

This is the first system-wide hiring event since 2019, and attendees can learn more about career and educational opportunities offered through CoxHealth. There will also be giveaways including tickets to Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium, Andy B’s, The Moxie and more.

“We can always talk about the strength of our culture, but being able to show potential employees why people love working here in-person makes a big difference,” says Andy Hedgpeth vice president human resources and staff. “Health care isn’t always the first thought for people outside of the medical field, but we have jobs for a variety of interests that include comprehensive benefits and opportunity for growth.”

CoxHealth was recently selected by Modern Healthcare as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare, which was informed by an extensive employee survey. Additionally in 2021, CoxHealth raised its minimum wage to $15.25 per hour, which represented the health system's largest starting wage adjustment in its history, impacting 6,500 employees.
