CoxHealth announces leadership changes
With the addition of Cox Barton County Hospital, CoxHealth now has six hospitals and nearly 11,500 employees. Such growth has prompted some changes in the system’s leadership team, and resulted in a new group on the organizational chart called the Community Hospital Group.
To help support this expansion, the following promotions are effective immediately:
William Mahoney will be promoted to system senior vice president leading the Community Hospital Group, and will also continue as president of Cox Medical Center Branson (CMCB). His title will be president, CMCB, and system senior vice president, Community Hospital Group.
Darren Bass will be promoted to system vice president in the Community Hospital Group, and will continue to serve as president of Cox Monett Hospital. His title will be president, Cox Monett Hospital, and system vice president, Community Hospital Group.
Wendy Duvall will serve as president of Cox Barton County Hospital, having previously held that position as president of Barton County Memorial Hospital before the acquisition.
Ashley Schuette will be promoted to deputy general counsel in the Community Hospital Group.
Josh Powell, currently the financial controller at Cox Monett Hospital, will be promoted with controller responsibilities over both Cox Monett Hospital and Cox Barton County Hospital.
