COVID-19 vaccinations: Feb. 12 update
Starting today (Friday, Feb. 12), we will resume notifying patients that they are eligible to register for COVID-19 vaccinations with us. We will begin with Stage 6, which we have partially completed, but will also send a second notification to people in Stages 3, 4 and 5 in case they didn’t have the chance to sign up before slots were full previously. The spots they register for will be at clinics we hold in the following days.
We have heard from a number of individuals in the previous stages, who say they have not received any communication from us about registering. After digging into this a bit, it appears that some notifications have been overlooked. (We understand: We’re all busy!) Please pay extra close attention to your email, text and phone over the next few days if you are close to Stage 6 on this chart. We don’t know how quickly stages will progress, but we want you to be aware when it’s possible for you to register. Off of that: We have been told that some phone carriers have blocked our automated call as “spam.” However, even if you didn’t get the call, we are still leaving a message, so please watch for that.
While this is a gradual process, we are so glad to report that we have now administered 21,163 total doses of vaccine, which have been given to 14,826 community members and employees. Thank you for your patience during this process, and continue to take joy in each and every dose that is given, as each one brings us closer to having COVID behind us.
