In appreciation for their service, area first responders are invited to a free lunch during CoxHealth's annual Salute to First Responders. The salute is held in honor of local first responders and in thanks for the work they do to keep the region safe.

The 8th annual event will consist of prize drawings and lunch, including a hamburger, chicken breast sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, chips, cookie and a drink. It is open to all first responders, and no RSVP is required.

The events are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following CoxHealth locations:

Cox Medical Center Branson on Friday, Aug. 4 in the Tree Rooms.
Cox Monett Hospital on Friday, Aug. 11 in the Main Conference Room.
Cox North Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the Fountain Plaza Room.
Cox Barton County Hospital on Friday, Aug. 18 by delivery.

Cox Barton County’s lunches will be delivered directly to first responders. Each boxed lunch includes a hamburger and chicken breast sandwich, baked beans, potato salad, chips, cookie and a drink. Please email anna.loper@coxhealth.com by Aug. 17 how many boxes your department needs.

2023 Salute to First Responders provides free lunch
